My Exercise Program
[Disclaimer: I'm just an engineer and not a professional fitness expert nor a psychologist. I share my views and experiences here but am not recommending anything to you.]
- I warm up, cool down, stretch and do abs every day.
-Daily cardio, a hard cardio Saturday reaching near-max heartrate, and an easy and looong hike on Sunday. Cross-training, varying and tempo on gym machines, bicycling and hiking. Bike when weather permits. Make like a machine!
- Weightlifting is three times a week (two unrelated parts each), covering all bodyparts per week. But watch my joints (especially my right shoulder!). Saturday is leftovers/different body part (rotating). Do it like an animal!
- Self-motivation is key.
- I do what I can with what I've got.
